What makes a coloring page easy?
- Bold outlines that keep each shape clearly separate, so a crayon or marker can run up to the line without guesswork.
- Large open areas, such as a character’s body, a cloud, or a teacup, that fill quickly with a broad tool.
- Few tiny enclosed spaces. Small gaps between leaves, lace, or cobblestones are what make a page slow.
- A plain background. Several of these pages leave the background white, so the page can be finished in one sitting.
“Easy” describes the drawing, not the person coloring it. It is not an age, health, or skill promise, and these are not large-print books: the pages print at the normal size of the sheet.

Make the first page easy too
- Use a broad tool for the big shapes. Crayons or a wide marker fill the large areas quickly; a colored pencil can follow for faces and small props. Using crayons and colored pencils on one page shows the handoff.
- Print one-sided for markers and put a spare sheet underneath, because marker ink can reach the back of thin paper.
- Print at actual size. Shrinking the page to fit makes every shape smaller; switch to Fit only if the border is cut off.
